CULT G
I wondered what would happen if the shame that society inculcates in us were removed from human consciousness. In that case, it would be possible to take any object for granted. As if it existed by itself, as if it were originally meaningless. To give you a better idea of what we're talking about, I'll give you an example: imagine that aliens see a violin. We know that a violin is an instrument that produces sound, but for them, it could be a daring object or even a murder weapon. What is "considered a disgrace in our society", I tried to consider in terms of aesthetics. Not false beauty. Like the way we look at a new and unknown flower or star. Or how someone who has never seen man as an existing life form would look at us". In his concept, the artist tends to regard the human body and its parts as a separate planet, an independent substance: "I have my own 'sanctuary', I present it to you like this. Everything we see, we endow with our consciousness, we look at through its prism. I took this particular object because my intellect gave it sacred significance. If you show my Cult G work to a being who has never seen a woman, he's likely to regard it as a form that will cause him neither irritation nor shame. But if you show my work to someone who adheres to society's framework, perhaps they'll see the meanings already labeled. The Cult of G is a project about perception. In any existing materiality. In any existing material object, we can find a reflection of any consciousness. Any object can be filled with the content of a person's understanding. I chose an object that was aesthetically pleasing to me. It could have been a football.
